Taylor is a “Fearless” leader. Here’s why…

Creator: Frazer Harrison Copyright: 2024

Yes I know you are probably tired of hearing about Taylor Swift, but I have to tell you I am obsessed. Not only are her songs amazing, but she is a role model and a fearless leader!

Last month, my daughter bought tickets to Taylor’s show in Vancouver for December 2024. She gave a ticket to me, but I really didn’t know her songs and also was tired of hearing about her.

I decided I needed to see what all the hype was about. I downloaded all her songs and have been listening for the past few weeks. I have to tell you I’m blown away on how talented she is. Her songs are so good! Every single one of them. Yes she did deserve those Grammys.

As I was watching Taylor at the Grammys, I realized that she is a fearless leader. Here are some the ways she shows up as leader:

  • Humility- Taylor knows how popular, famous and loved she is, but she reached out to everyone. She was cheering for her competitors.

  • Confidence- Taylor also knows she has a lot of haters, but she doesn’t let that get to her. She walked by her ex boyfriend with confidence and danced to “Vampire “ which some think is about her.

  • Strategic - Announcing her new album when accepting her first Grammy was very strategic. She got all her fans buzzing before the Grammys when her website was down and then afterwards they are still buzzing even days later.

If you are a hater of Taylor, you should ask yourself why. Is it because she takes over 2 minutes of your football game or because she wins too many awards?

The way I look at is if you love her or hate her, at least learn the lesson. She is kicking ass and keeps showing up. She has made herself successful by not listening to the haters and just keeps doing her thing.

We can all learn from Taylor. Go out and do what you are passionate about. You may fail a few times, but that’s ok. Keep showing up and you will be successful as defined by you. Don’t listen to the haters!

Here’s to your success!

Best,

Rene
